Solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul

Solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Apostles, and its Vigil
June 29th, 2008

St. Xavier Parish Home Page

Brothers and sisters, today is a special day on the on the Church's calendar, and Solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The Church holds these men in such high honor that the prayers and readings for their feast day replaces the usual Sunday readings. As we celebrate this Mass, let us seek the intercession of Saint Peter, the rock on whom the church is built, and Saint Paul, the apostle of the nations.

Mighty Big Thank You
We thank all who donated their time, talent and treasure to help the people of St. Michael's in Chapman. Your generosity of $6,710.57, toward those who suffered from the forces of nature is overwhelming. May God bless you all.

We welcome to the Christian Community Mathias Orion Lopez-Schoenhofer and Alyson Elizabeth Simpson, who were baptized last weekend. May the loving God be with them and their families always.

Storytellers - Susan Kamphaus and Mary Jane Witt,
Randy Testa - Voice of God and King Nebuchadnezzar,
Rodney Case - Pirate Scientist Captian,
Anne Marie Thompson - Crafts Captain,
